Hopeful Hippies

Music as mantra soothes my soul and I hope yours too. It also boosts my positive self-talk which changes the landscape as I journey to the land called Hope! Self-talk that feeds a chin up attitude will train your eyes to focus on the sky, the beautiful clouds, the far away view of success as opposed to a chin down attitude where you only see the mud and muck of discouragement.
You have two choices.
Feel sorry for yourself and negatively impact your body's innate healing abilities.
Stay positive and resilient even through adversity.
Hey, staying positive is hard work, but music as mantra often times reinforces the hopeful story that I am trying to tell myself and attacks the negative words that are on auto-repeat. Words that are saying, "This is too hard. I don't know where the strength will come from. I can't do it. I give up. I am throwing in the towel."
Find that soulful music that speaks to you. Gives you the courage, the strength, the resilience to get through your challenges whatever they may be. Find that music and mantra that will help you see the landscape of Hope!
I guess I forget that I've got all the answers
And I forget that I've got all I need
Guess I forget that the path isn't easy
And what I seek is already in me
When will I learn
That I've got this
When will I learn
To trust the process
There are days that I lose my believing
And there are days I lose touch with my soul
And there are days when the fire inside me
Is nothing more than embers and smoke
When will I learn that I've got all I need
When will I learn that I'm already free
When will I learn that I've got all I need
When will I learn
To trust the process
